MAX R.GOLDBERG
Max R. Goldberg is co-owner of Strategic Hospitality, LLC, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. Strategic Hospitality is the parent company to venues Paradise Park, The Patterson House and rooftop private event space, Aerial.

Max attended the University of Denver, graduating with honors while receiving a double major in Business Management and Economics. Max served as Student Body President and received the University’s highest honor, “The Pioneer Award”. Goldberg founded Denver University Television (DUTV) and was the creator and host of the station’s first television show, Happy Hour. During college, Max became interested in the hospitality business, hosting several events in Denver as well as the Lake Tahoe areas.

After graduation, Max moved to New York City and began his career with The Dilenschneider Group, and later moved to Ruder Finn; both strategic consulting firms located in midtown Manhattan. During his time in New York, Max hosted a weekly event at a bar in the Lower East Side of New York City, further foreshadowing his interest in the hospitality business. While in New York, Hampton's Magazine named Max one of the most eligible bachelors of New York City.

In 2007 Max recognized his true passion in the hospitality business. He moved back to his hometown to partner with his brother Benjamin, to own and operate Strategic Hospitality. Under the Strategic umbrella: Paradise Park Trailer Resort, a true “honky tonk” on the Broadway strip in downtown Nashville. Paradise Park is a tongue-in-cheek rendition of a southern trailer park, complete with wood paneled walls and Astroturf floors. Max recognized the need for an upscale private event space, and opened Aerial located on the rooftop above Paradise Park. This space provides unparalleled views of Broadway’s neon lights, historic Ryman Auditorium, Shelby Street Bridge, Symphony Hall and the skyscrapers of downtown. Aerial has hosted weddings, social functions, photo shoots, and private concerts with artists including Keith Urban and Levon Helm.

In the spring of 2009 Max opened a restaurant and bar with high-end cocktails made with precise amounts of liquor, homemade bitters and syrups, and fresh fruits and juices. The Patterson House brought together a team with outstanding resumes and training from some of the finest restaurants in the world, Alinea, The Fat Duck, The Violet Hour and Milk and Honey. Within the first six months of business, The Patterson House received national press from The New York Times, The Post’s Page Six, GQ magazine, The Tennessean, and Spirit by Southwest Airlines.

Goldberg is currently working on several consulting projects, assisting others with an interest in the bar and restaurant business. Strategic Hospitality, LLC, has plans to continue growing and expanding with new and innovating projects.
