BENJAMIN GOLDBERG
Benjamin Goldberg is the founder and co-owner of Strategic Hospitality, LLC, based in Nashville, Tennessee. Strategic Hospitality is the parent company to Nashville-based restaurants Paradise Park and The Patterson House, along with rooftop event space Aerial.

Benjamin attended The University of Miami in Miami, Florida, and pursued a business degree in entrepreneurship. It was during this time that he became engaged in the hospitality business, working at various bars and restaurants during the peak of South Beach’s boom.

After graduation, Benjamin returned to his hometown of Nashville and opened Bar Twenty3 in an up and coming neighborhood just outside of downtown at the age of 23. Bar Twenty3 was an instant success, winning numerous awards from local publications including Best New Bar, Best Place to People Watch and Bar That Makes You Not Feel Like You Are Not In Nashville. It was also named one of the top 30 nightspots in the world by Conde Nast Traveler.

In 2005, two years after opening Bar Twenty3, Goldberg opened live music venue and special event rental space City Hall. City Hall fit a mid-size niche in the Nashville market and was named Best New Music Venue by the Nashville Scene in 2006. Acts at City Hall include Kings of Leon, Sugarland, The Deftones, Ray Lamontagne, The Roots and Beck. City Hall hosted events for Universal Music Group, CMT Awards Show parties and many fundraisers.

In early 2007 Goldberg opened Paradise Park Trailer Resort, a true honky tonk on the Broadway strip in downtown Nashville. Paradise Park is a tongue-in-cheek rendition of a southern trailer park, complete with wood paneled walls and Astroturf floors. Paradise Park has become one of the most popular bars on Broadway, and plans are in place to expand the business to other cities in the Southeast.

Shortly after opening Paradise Park Trailer Resort, Goldberg identified an opportunity to open a rooftop venue on the roof of Paradise Park. This special event space provides unparallel views of the neon lights of Broadway, historic Ryman Auditorium, Shelby Street Bridge, and the skyscrapers of downtown. Aerial hosts many weddings, company parties, CD release parties and more.

In the spring of 2009 Benjamin opened a restaurant and bar unlike anything in Nashville that focuses on high-end cocktails made with precise amounts of liquor, homemade bitters and syrups, and fresh fruits and juices. The Patterson House brought together a team with outstanding resumes and training from some of the greatest restaurants in the world, including Alinea, The Fat Duck, and Milk and Honey. After six months of business, The Patterson House has received national press from The New York Times, GQ magazine, and Spirit by Southwest Airlines.

With a proven record of success, Strategic Hospitality, LLC, has plans to continue growing and expanding with new and innovating projects.
